I reacted a little late to these sad news but better later than never.  Arguably the greatest mangaka of all time, the creator of Berserk, has recently passed away, leaving Berserk unfinished.

Thank you for everything, Miura-sensei, May you rest in peace.  :'(

A terrible shame. Miura was only in his fifties, which is especially surprising given Japan has such a high average life expectancy. I fell off Berserk with the Fantasia arc, the story wasn't grabbing me anymore by that point, but the art remained exceedingly good. RIP

Huh, missed this thread, but good to see it.
Had a dream about reading the whole series shortly after he died, definitely looking forward to it eventually. Though sad to know that it won't have a proper ending.
