Beside The Slovenian Classical composer we all  love Jacobus Handl Gallus, what about the other obscure name, interesting avant-garde  composer whom use odd Cadences and a share loads of dissonances, please musicologist impress me, I don't know nothing about  Madrigalists of Adriatic sea ,Balkan region, What about Croatia?

If I were you I’d explore the recordings of Katrina Livljanić with the ensembles Melodi and Dialogos. It’s maybe earlier music than you’re really after, but it’s a start.
