Good piece in a recent issue of The New Yorker on Herbert Blomstedt. (Normally the magazine has a paywall, but they do allow people to read a limited number of articles for free.)

He's doing Beethoven 5 and Nielsen 4 together with NYPO in March and I'm mighty tempted to make the flight.

Haven't read the piece yet - will tomorrow - but of course must register some doubt about that headline.
