For me quite a spectacular discovery is Beethoven's draft for the exposition for a concerto movement for Violin, Cello and Orchestra from 1802 ! Here is my attempt to work this out to a full movement:

What is you impression of this work?

Hi Gerd

This is very impressive, if someone had presented this to me as Beethoven all the way through I wouldn't have doubted them. Congratulations!

He has a bit more information in his description on the youtube upload. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCx24bDAAME

This website tells you more about *his (?) projects:  https://unheardbeethoven.org/about-the-project/

Also, this website:  https://www.lvbeethoven.it/

*I was thinking when I first typed this that s/he was one of the main people involved with (behind) the unheardbeethoven website; however, now I'm thinking that s/he's a third/separate party [To be fair, I'm still working on my first cup of coffee! ;D ]?  Not certain.  In any event, what a cool project!

@gprengel  I can't read music, but I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Thank you, I am glad you enjoy this work :) yes, I do work from time to time for the lvbeethoven.it research website by working out Beethoven sketches . As I wrote in the description I was introduced by them to this draft at the end of January and was asked whether I could work it out somehow, what I gladly did  - doing this is really a passion for me ... there are quite a good number of hidden gems among Beethoven's sketches (see my YT playlist) :)  :)
