Here's my list (in no particular order):

Berg: Piano Sonata, Op. 1
Scriabin: Piano Sonata No. 2 in G-sharp minor, Op. 19 "Sonata-Fantasy"
Ives: Concord Sonata
Shostakovich: Piano Sonata No. 2 in B minor, Op. 61
Prokofiev: Piano Sonata No. 7 in B♭ major, Op. 83
Janáček: Piano Sonata 1.X.1905
Chopin: Piano Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor, Op. 35
Liszt: Piano Sonata in B minor, S. 178
Carter: Piano Sonata
Bartók: Piano Sonata, BB 88, Sz. 80

Edit: I did away with the Hindemith for Bartók since I couldn't choose from any three of the Hindemith works.

Wow, you liking the Chopin?  ???

I remember enjoying the Carter as well.

Liszt B minor
Brahms Op. 5
Alkan Grande Sonate "Les quatre âges"
Medtner Op. 30
Scriabin No. 4

Thumbs up for the Weber...

Oh yes - I first listened to it on my iPod when out for a long walk, and did more dancing than walking, I think.

Your original list included Schubert no.20 - which is that?  Must be one of the late ones, but I couldn't find any reliable listing of them by number.  (Hope it's my beloved A major, D.959.)

Sure, I don't listen to Chopin very often, but I do like some of his works. :)

Big fan of both the Kabalevsky and Rachmaninov. The others (excluding Beehoven, Schubert and Prokofiev) are still rather unknown to me of less familiar.

You don't know Medtner's Sonata Romantica? :o You must rectify that! ;) It's my favorite piano sonata at the moment.
