Nice work, Gerd! Very idiomatic orchestration, maybe close to what LvB himself might have done, and very expressive use of the orchestra.

I do hear what sound to me like a few errors, typos perhaps in your score. The most noticeable occurs at 9:47, where the low winds (maybe a bassoon) hold the fourth degree of the scale (either a C or a Db, I don't have a copy of the score unfortunately) instead of resolving downward to the third (B or C).

But these are minor problems, and might even not be errors at all - it's been a long time since I've seen the Op. 59 quartets on the page, just my ear's recollection from the recording I used to have.

But overall, great work! Thanks for sharing it.
