Starting on Sunday, a fantastic lineup of concerts from the
Bowdoin International Music Festival in Brunswick, Maine. During a month when things can be quiet, this festival is a welcome respite. (And unfortunately things are still being canceled because of COVID; I hope Bowdoin doesn't follow suit.)
Anyway, for someone not wanting to go out on July 4 and looking for something to do, the
Ariel Quartet program looks quite delicious.
MOZART (1756-1791) - String Quartet No. 19 in C Major, K. 465, “Dissonance”
MATAN PORAT (b. 1982) -
Four Ladino SongsBARTÓK (1881-1945) - String Quartet No. 5, Sz. 102
