     The incomparable trashterpiece Lifeforce is starting to get the reappraisal it deserves.

     The Henry Mancini score is outstanding. There's also a ballerina who most excellently doesn't wear clothes often. She's a space vampire so I guess she doesn't have to.

Lifeforce is a hoot, and any film with Patrick Stewart is going to prove worthwhile in any case.

     One admires Animals and can see why it's considered PFs best by an army of considerers. I don't think liking comes into it very much, though. It has an awesome prayer in it, so it has that.

     I do think it's their best in terms of its realized ambition. On a smaller scale Echoes would be my choice.

I haven't seen Lifeforce, but I ordered the Blu-ray of it almost a month ago. CDON sucks at delivery...

    I have both the 1080p and 4k. Unfortunately the 4k has cuts (~13 min) and the opening credits music is changed. That OK, though, because the 1080p remastered version is great.
