Halloween 2025 is now in the books, and Thanksgiving isn't ( for me ) so much a season as a sort of traditional family event. And so while some might well conclude that I'm rushing things, in my worldview the Holiday Season for 2025 has arrived. 

I thought I had already posted this reaction, but I've done a search and had no hits for it... so:

That drinker guy used to be part Limmy's crew, an indipendent comedian from Scotland:

Funny how he became so big now, while Limmy never really took off, most likely since unless you are from Scotland you need subtitles to even understand what the hell he is saying lol:

     My problem with this guy is he wastes his ire on franchise films no sane person expects to be good. It's not difficult to find movies and TV worth watching. It helps if you're not allergic to subtitles or older stuff like TV series from the Brit Golden Age (late '60s to '80s).

     I'm thinking it might be time to revisit The Pallisers or the original of The Forsyte Saga.

This is the issue with youtube in general. It's a job to those people, one always needs to keep that in mind.

This is not to say youtubers are NEVER genuine or don't actually have beliefs or views of their own, but very few of them are really free to do anything they want. Once you build an audience doing a certain thing, you have to keep going or risk losing all of it.

     The Critical Boozer is right about Midnight Mass. I watched it not knowing anything about Flanagan (I didn't know he was responsible for Doctor Sleep, which is excellent).

You beat me to it, I've just now finished watching the ladies holding their breath with Dennis Weaver.

I saw Duel in it's original broadcast as an ABC " Movie of the Week " in 1971. It was probably the first time any film held my attention from end to end, and I never forget that experience.
