Mars Attacks! is probably my no. 2 TB film, after ES. My father enjoyed it when he was going through a rough time, and memories of him walking around his house trying to speak " Martian " still elicit a smile. I always check out reactions to the film, so thanks Drog.

Unexpected but welcome. My favorite character is Sgt. Zim, who is likely inspired by Kubrick's Sgt. Hartmann, though Verhoeven has very different tonal priorities as opposed to Kubrick.

At last, she has summited Everest.

I'm a little surprised she hasn't seen 2001 until now. It is hard to keep up which reactors have seen what. I haven't been watching reaction videos lately (apart from Sesskasays' classic Doctor Who reactions which are now coming to the end, Seinfeld reactions by Jen Murray and The X-Files reactions by Elie Moses and Reel Food). A lot of my Youtube time has gone lately into watching PPim's IRL vods of her visit in Finland*. IRL vods have became one of my favourite form of content, but they steal insane amount of time from the viewer (the maximum Youtube video length is 12 hours and in IRL content that's not rare at all!). I have 6-7 hours left of PPim's Finland content and after that I want to watch Jinnytty's New Year content in Singapore (Hong Kong's fireworks were canceled because of the devastating Wang Fuk Court apartment building fire that happened in late November).


*I watched Jinnytty's IRL content in December when she started her Europe Christmas trip in Nuremberg. While there, she met some other IRL streamers. One of these were PPim from Thailand who asked Jinnytty about the coldness of Lapland (Jinnytty visited Finland a year ago). I knew nothing about PPim, but I decided to watch her Finland content (we Finns are insanely curious about what foreigners think about our country and culture).
