The topography does certainly come out more clearly on that one, but personally I think I prefer the sombre tones of the previous one for the whole thing. Nice pics!

Thank you! It's easy to take quick snaps with this camera so I'm going to stick with it and learn more lunar features.

The sky was nice and clear this morning.

I needed a much longer exposure yesterday morning. The lunar dust reflects far more light back in the direction from which it came and this view is well off to the side of that.

Yes, every small piece is unique. It reminds me of cross-polarised microscope photos of lunar rock 8) .
