Quote from: absolutelybaching on November 26, 2022, 06:25:15 AMThanks. It's pretty obvious, isn't it? ;D
Can definitely confirm: I don't have one under anyone's posts.

Very strange indeed.

Yes but the problem is that he doesn't see any "like" buttons, not yours, not mine, not anyone else's.

Oddly, I though there was a like button on my own posts before, maybe a faulty memory. And absolutelybaching said there was no like button on my post, but maybe because likes are not working for him at all. So to confirm, you see a like button at the bottom of my posts?

Yes. I see it.

One has to be logged in to see the like buttons under the other members post.

Yes, I got it alright from the first time.

QuoteSee below. None of those are my own. None of them have a like button.

I really can't figure out why, especially since there doesn't seem to be any setting related to this button (such as show / don't show).

Then there must be a failure in the setting of absolutelybaching's profile.

Best to let Rob fix it, when he gets the time.

And perhaps the biggest forum upgrade of them all is rendering table-pounding posts obsolete.  8)

Quote from: absolutelybaching on November 26, 2022, 06:37:20 AMNot entirely sure why this is quite so hard to convey! How do you think I'm typing this if I'm not logged in, for starters?!

Additionally, please see below. That's your post, with no like button, and if you look with a magnifying glass on the top part of the screen, you'll see 'absolutelybaching' mentioned, next to 'My messages': I'm very definitely logged in, and there's no like button.

You're using a computer, not a phone, correct?

I'm on my phone and can see the like buttons; but the layout I'm seeing is not the layout shown on your screencap. (A screencap off my phone always exceeds 500kb so I can't attach an image to demonstrate).

So I'm wondering if the like button shows at the moment only for phones.
Question to the members reading this on a computer: can you see the like buttons?

I always use PC, at the moment with Windows 10, and I see all the like buttons (except of course under my own posts).

So you have got the absolutelybaching syndrome. One more case for dr. Rob(ert).

Anyone else not seeing the like buttons?

I did notice that Karl and absolutelybaching have one thing in common (they're both Silver Subscribers),that none of the people who report seeing the like button have that one thing...and that it would make no sense why that commonality would have on impact on their ability to see the like button.
