Some Holiday Perspective

I considered posting this in Unimportant News, but finally decided that it needed its own thread. Certainly, it isn't " unimportant " for those involved.

I'll start by noting that the holidays can be stressful for many of us... preparing for visitors or travel, sorting out events to attend or host, and still finding a little time to enjoy the all-too-brief atmosphere of something special in the air.

So, here's a story about one boy and his family's holiday experience, and the reverberations thereof.

I can't say that it's a happy story, but I would maintain that it provides a useful perspective:
