Hi all,

Elurra is another piece in the suite 'La Dama de Murmumendi'

La Dama de Murmumendi is an ancient Basque Godess credited with ruling over the ever changing, sometimes unpredictable and often temperamental weather.  The suite is a representation of some of her various aspects and moods.

Elurra is the Basque word for The Snow.

Hope you like it.

I would enjoy hearing the whole suite.  One thing is having heard the wind movement first, the snow movement feels quite similar.  I can see that but in a fuller suite would want more contrast between the sections.  An enjoyable listen.

Very evocative piece!  Near the middle I was reminded of Rachmaninoff, which places you in the most excellent company!

I enjoyed that! I certainly hear the Rachmaninov connection. : )
