There are at least three channels where free videos of recent classical music concerts are regularly scheduled on streaming TV. They are Vivaldi TV, Qwest Classical and Stingray Classica. They can be found as part of the channel lineup on a free streaming service which also broadcasts old TV and cable shows, Plex. These concerts however are recent, not old. Plex should be able to be added to your streaming channel lineup on your smart TV or streaming service.  On the Plex main pages area, you can do a Search for Vivaldi, Qwest or Stingray Classica to find the channels. They all present recent concerts of the symphonic and chamber music repertory from concert halls around the world. The videos are superbly shot with closeups of the conductor, soloists and of musicians who are playing the passage you are hearing. Classical and Stingray Classica also have ballet and opera concerts. All this is supported by commercials, which are however short, not as long and winding as commercials on cable TV. Commercials are between works, sometimes between movements, and tastelessly on Qwest sometimes also inserted in the middle of movements. You can teach yourself to manipulate the Plex controls so that the three channels are regulars on your Favorites list and will come up bunched together on the first listing you see when you turn Plex on.

Thanks for the tip on this.  I caught Bertrand Chamayou, Sol Gabetta, and Baiba Skride playing Schubert's D929 last night in a performance from 2012.  There was a 2021 Jordi Savall recital in the middle of the night, so hopefully that gets repeated.  Marin Marais' Ariane et Bacchus streams today.  And that's just on Vivaldi TV.  So much free content.
