Harry is an instrumental Elgarian or non-soprano Elgarian.  ;D

I must be just mental Elgarian.  ;D

You wrote down my friend what I thought.
Thank you. :)

You're welcome!
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

You're welcome!

What has happened to your avatar, have you taken away deliberately half of Elgar?

The new avatar reflects my lesser activity + the conflicts here recarding Elgar.

Is Harry Collier the only one on this forum who has visited Elgar's Birthplace?

Apparently not many Elgarians have found their way on this forum...

I like Elgar's music, but I haven't had the opportunity yet to visit other countries.  Even if I did the list of awesome stuff to see in the UK would be so overwhelming that I don't think that visiting Elgar's birthplace is one of them.

I always like to answer anyone who takes an interest, sorry it is a page later. I had just encountered a new dentist in the practice I use. She is a very beautiful Polish woman called Magda. Less gung-ho than my usual guy, she gave me another set of pills to deal with an infection at the base of the tooth. I had been ready for a chair-arm clutching sesion with the drill. No penicillin, I am allergic to it. I take the pills like a good boy and even, un-Morselike, abjure alcohol as instructed.

Now...Elgar....I don't find him very interesting as an individual. All the things noted as brought out by visiting his house are aspects I knew about. I do enjoy some his music enormously, but I am not an Elgarian. Who with that title would, like me, be happy to shred both The Apostles and The Kingdom?

Mike
DavidW: Yeah Mike doesn't get angry, he gets even.
I wasted time: and time wasted me.

Yes. My activity would have dropped even more if I didn't have to answer questions like this!

I love Magda's aria in The Consul, by Gian Carlo Menotti . . . . . .  In fact, I'm working on my own opera titled Magda . . . . . .

Will you tell us more? What does Magda get up to?

Mike,

I would be unable to respond without derailing the thread ........ Of course, I would never knowingly participate in the derailment of an Elgar thread .......... My Lord, it sickens me to even ponder that eventuality .........

Somehow I feel that must be an oxymoron. ;D

Calling D Minor any kind of moron is against the rules here.

Ah, the unmistakable sound of Mike not getting angry  8)

That's right; I may be odd, but I will get even. I see D Minor has transmogrified.
