Wow, that's progress ! Thanks !!

Madiel

I just managed to get a quote alert straight away, so that's good. Although I'll have to ramble on a bit more to see if the problem's solved.  ;D

Notification alerts seem to still be wonky or not happening.
[I was quoted but no notification has appeared yet. Similar happened this morning.]

Yes, similar issues. I got a sudden flood of notifications around this time yesterday when I had the forum sitting open for a bit, it turned out most of them were 1-2 days old.

Kalevala

I ran into a problem when I tried to quote a mod in an email to me and received:  "Please try again.  If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator."

I then tried again, and received a message along the lines of "You have already submitted this posting" [Not certain of the exact wording].

I get that msg frequently, but it seems that msgs to the mods do get through, nevertheless.

From looking at my sent box, I see two messages which I had quoted (same message) and replied to and one which is just from their message to me.  :(

If you get that error, you will just have to keep trying until it goes through!

Madiel

Things might be improving, I've been getting quote alerts overnight.

Or maybe the forum software just likes Dvorak...

Nice to see you again, @Kalevala;)
Part of the tragedy of the Palestinians is that they have essentially no international support for a good reason: they've no wealth, they've no power, so they've no rights.

Well the bottle got uncorked overnight. A tonne of the missing alerts about quotes and mentions turned up. The bit where @ritter was testing the system with me 9 days ago, saying "let's see what happens now"... I guess it's now.  ;)

Sometimes I get this message.

It's an odd bug. Don't bother.

If you are interested in my opinion about a recording I have posted on GMG, PM me and I will answer
