I've completed another string quartet in case anyone wants to have a listen despite its length -- it's one of my longest chamber works. There's less contrapuntal slow music than is some of my most recent chamber works but as usual it switches between highly chromatic, almost atonal and simpler diatonic passages. The first movement is the most substantial but the heart is the adagio finale. It's relatively unusual (though not unique in my output) in having two scherzo-like central movements which are quite different in style. It's in also equally split in the library rendering between VSL and Chris Hein with the former taking the faster movements.

Most easily, it can be found at the top of the latest works list here
