His activity as a composer has seen him engaged in various sectors: from classical (opera, ballet, symphony, chamber music) to jazz and pop music, from soundtracks for theatre, cinema and television, to radio productions. His symphonic and chamber works have been performed in the United States, Canada, South America (Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Peru), Europe (Russia, Great Britain, Holland, Germany, France, Spain, Norway, Belgium, Greece , Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania) and in Asia (China, Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Lebanon), as well as in Italy (in festivals including Spoleto, MITO, Festival of Nations, Cantiere d'Arte di Montepulciano, etc.)
Invited both as a composer and as a performer and conductor, he has taken part in international festivals and has been a guest in some of the main theaters and halls (Carnegie Hall and Focus Festival at the Juilliard School in New York, Festival Encuentros at the Teatro Colòn in Buenos Aires, Vilnius Philharmonic, Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao for the BBK Festival, at the Cervantino Festival in Mexico, Uzeyir Hajibeyov International Music Festival in Baku in Azerbaijan, etc.) and in Italy (Festival of Nations, International Mozart Festival in Rovereto, SpazioMusica Cagliari, Lugo Opera Festival, Cantiere d'Arte of Montepulciano, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Teatro Comunale di Modena, ERF Festival, Festival Pergolesi – Spontini, etc.).
