I'm leaving.

I got a warning for trolling. No mention about what. An anymonous post moreover.

If there's so little tolerance, this is not for me.

Also I got no response from a complaint by Madiel, whom I dislike now even more, because of his complain, that is unexplained and makes no sense to me.

I'm sorry to hear that you feel you have to leave. Perhaps the best course would be to confine your participation here more strictly to music, since other subjects seem to lead to friction.

Thanks for your response.

I can't even reply to the warning post. Is this a joke or so?
They say that I 'intentionally create discord'.. ?? I don't take this.

I try to be positive all the time and to contribute.

What a kafka-esk way to treat members of what is supposed to be a civilized forum.

We're all humans. If you don't get this, then it's a pity.

If you have questions for the moderators, you can always PM us and we can talk about it. We prefer to talk in private as a courtesy to save people embarrassment, offense, etc. It would be sad to see you leave over such a simple thing, but of course you are free to make your choices.

I don't understand what you mean by "the warning post" or "an anonymous post." Are you talking about a public post?

Again, you can always send a PM.

EDIT: Also, you are currently not in our warning/watching system.

Karl Henning

Wouldn't want to see you go, @Henk do reach out to the mods.

Trolling and creating discord? I can't say I've noticed anything :( .

By the way, this thread could possibly be useful in the future for various (and benign) purposes.

This. Where could that have taken place I wonder? Never noticed anything.

They want to seduce me to reconsider my move, in other words adapt. I'm glad I get some support now.

No, I mean, this whole thing. In what thread were you accused of trolling? That's news to me.

No problem. In fact, I think the administration here is overzealous and often oversteps the bounds of sanity. As long as forum members don't start praising child pornography or Netrebko and Gergiev, things can stay as they are. The referees in the Premier League as a model.

I appreciate the irony of offering some moderation to a discussion of possible over-moderation  :P , but this is one of the few actual rules we have. We don't have to like everybody, but we do show respect. The advice about using ignore (or using your personal ability to ignore!) is very sound.

Where is the personal attack??

Phrases like "the character is sick". Let's please not engage in that kind of name calling. Thanks!
