I think she's been mentioned at least once by someone other than me (about a year ago ;D), so... why not give her a separate thread? ;D ;D ;D ;D

Apart from a cameo as composer and performer in one of the volumes of the Agnieszka Duczmal-Amadeus Chamber Orchestra series, she has also recorded two discs of her own. She sings on both, and on one of them she is also the composer. (So I did have a little trouble pigeonholing her properly, since she could easily go into the Vocal section. But they don't listen to a whole lot of contemporary there, so...)

Anyway, both discs are on Accord. (A few) more details about them here:
ACD 123 http://v2.cdaccord.com.pl/tracks.en.html?acd=123
ACD 149 http://cdaccord.com.pl/tracks.en.html?acd=149

If you want more evidence of her abilities, here are two snippets I've found on YouTube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_mVeO5svhM - Zubel singing Copland; nice!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiQ2EN20ods - Zubel singing Fausto Romitelli - handheld camera, but it gives some idea of her range.

And if that makes you hungry for more samples - this guy* also has a bunch of her recordings:

- some cool stuff in there. I mean it, fans of contemporary music will very likely enjoy this. Which is not to say that fans of non-contemporary (or non-fans of contemporary) should stay away. Quite the opposite, in fact. There's some really nice, imaginative, modern music-making in there. I only wish there was more.

* - well, he calls himself "mister"

Oh, look, she has a site of her own!

http://www.zubel.pl/

(With a discography much larger than I was aware of. Much.)

Yes, that's my camera and my hands holding it.

And I now I have to apologize again for the really annoying clicks when I took single shots during the clip. It was a new camera, and I had no idea it would do that. Pffft. Amateurs.

Anyway, she is an extremely talented and extremely nice person. And wildly pretty. Good that she has a site, too, but it'd be even gooder if we could order CDs right there.

The new erato

But she obviously is prone to bad hair days.
