In 2025 I'm anticipating some major changes and want to do some preparation and downsizing of my collection.

Going to sell a whole lot of stuff, probably on Discogs or eBay, starting in January, but since GMG is "my people," I wanted to offer them all here first. There is a small "GMG discount" compared to the going rates on other sites. First come first served via DM. (If you're a guest, feel free to email me brianrein AT gmail.)

Shipping: I'm an amateur here so I'm not sure what the shipping charges will be. I'll start shipping after Christmas to avoid post office lines. I'll let you know what shipping costs. I am based in Texas. Some of these are 40+ CDs and heavy.

EDIT: FedEx $15 flat rate shipping boxes can fit up to a 20CD width box; $18 flat rate shipping boxes can fit up to about a 35CD box (but not a "cube"). This rate is good inside the USA.

I have PayPal and Zelle.

So what's on sale, then?

Photo below of most BUT NOT ALL of the goods. Some very big items are missing. I can send you a photo if you need one. I'll list out names and prices in a reply.

Hi. I see an Annie Fischer box set pictured but not described. Can you tell me more? Otherwise I might like your Endellion Beethoven. Thanks.

Oh, good catch, I forgot to log it. EMI Icon, complete EMI recordings. This one:

I'll take (looks at Amazon listing) $232.49. Kidding. Maybe $40.

(poco) Sforzando

I'll take it, and the Endellion.

Is the Murray Perahia the "First 40 Years" box?

PS there's a few more things in the photo that haven't made the text list.

Hmm - I think I might have copied over an older draft of the list then. You're right, I have a copy where I wrote "Murray Perahia - the First 40 Years (68 CDs)" but that didn't make it either. It is that box.

I noticed that you didn't list the Moravec box [I already own it, but just wanted to give you a "heads up"].  :)

Also a couple of Sibelius boxes. And the Artemis Quartet.

The "shopping list" is updated with all the other boxes I forgot to include, and with the first round of purchases crossed out. EDIT: I'll remove the "NEW ADD" tags after a week.

The original post is also updated with the flat rates I found at FedEx for shipping to people who request a group of 4-5 box sets that can be put together into the same box. All the more incentive to shop!

The first sale is in the mail today, next to follow shortly.

As far as I can see, you didn't include the Moravec Supraphon set.  I know, you have a lot on your plate at the moment.  :)

Hah, I was just running to the other room to check on that and add it. It's now added above. Amazon has it for $70, which is silly, since that is more than the recent "complete" box!

Yes, the fairly recent *Supraphon set also includes labels like Nonesuch and I think(?) Connoisseur too (and a DVD)...could be wrong re the Connoisseur (too tired to get up at the moment to check).

*Which I own, present from a good friend, and am thankful for.  ;)

I should add, that that 4-CD Supraphon set is a lovely way to explore both the music and the incredible musicianship of Ivan Moravec.  He's still one of my favorite pianists.  I really wish that I'd seen him perform in person.  Please, somebody take a chance and buy this set...love his Debussy and Chopin in particular.

Brian, in case you're not familiar: there's a terrific service called pirateship.com that you can use to print your mailing labels for UPS or post office. There's no membership fees or anything, and the prices are well discounted.

We use it in my job, and I've also used it many times myself, especially when I was trading a lot of fountain pens.
