Here is a fine performance of Gustav Mahler's Piano Quartet in A minor, or more exactly the Quartet Movement for Piano, Violin, Viola and Cello in A Minor. It's the first movement to an abandoned piano quartet and, of course, the composer's sole surviving piece of instrumental chamber music.  It's followed by Alred Schnittke's companion quartet (also in A minor), inspired by Mahler's original.
