I keep getting the Forbidden Access when trying to post to the Listening thread.

ETA
It let me post now, albeit I split one post into two short ones.

Strange. I intended to post twice in Florestans "Have You Listened to All the Recordings You Have? thread". The first ended in the thread OK, but with the second I got the "forbidden" massage, also when trying again 15 minutes later.
Reality trumps our fantasy far beyond imagination.

I believe this is the first bug I have reported, and it is a strange, very specific one that precisely zero time should be taken to try to resolve, if it can be.  In a review of the TV show MobLand, I originally included the below sentence.  When I tried to post it, I got a '403 Forbidden' error.  It took a few tries to find the offending sentence.  It can be obviously be posted, but not in the original paragraph.  Color me puzzled.

The problematic sentence:
"Aside from the three international stars, the show is filled with British character actors, most of whom have appeared in various things that jumped the pond."
The universe is change; life is opinion. - Marcus Aurelius, Meditations

People would rather believe than know - E.O. Wilson

Propaganda death ensemble - Tom Araya

It happened to me as well in other threads but never in that one. It's really a strange bug.

I'm assuming it's a slightly random bug that intermittently pops up when someone tries to post a post, and not really linked to who is posting or what's in it.

I did manage to track one instance down to something specific by a process of elimination. I reduced the post bit by bit until it suddenly posted when I removed a single word with single inverted commas around it.  It was something like this:

You can call me 'Alan' would not post.
You can call me Alan would post.

Yet another instance yesterday: I was quoting someone else's post and got the FORBIDDEN accusatory finger, so I tried to wittle down to the core of the problem. The only way I could make the post go through was to remove the [ quote ] and [ /quote ] commands.

Good. Thanks. I rather you didn't. Not today, anyway.

I know Amazon images can be a problem at times.
Can you see this (also an Amazon image)?

I'll be sure to write in words my listening in case that happens again.

Mister Sharpe

I'm getting, seemingly increasingly, Forbidden notices (403 Forbidden Error) on my posts - this is not necessarily a bad thing, perhaps even complimentary - all Forbidden Books are well worth reading, right? But I'd like to think that they're forbidden not because of error but because there's something impermissible, extra fun or of real interest, in them... Might the problem be thread-specific? As in "Last Movie You Just Watched;"Purchases Today"?   No problem, clearly, in the Bug Report thread!

I had a strange one yesterday--and I thought that my post had posted--'til I checked back; it said something about a warning and that my post need to be corrected first.  Well, I was able to re-post it and without any corrections later.

Confusing at my end as it was in the bird thread!  The only possible word that I could see as causing issues (if that was the case) was "nuts"---and Owlice and I were talking about chestnuts!  Maybe there were too many photos in the post?

Never had a 403 forbidden error until today in the Aussie Rules thread.

Weirdly, if I go one step back from the error msg, it doesn't allow me to edit the original posting attempt. I have to restart from scratch in a fresh page.

If it's something on the longish side, you might want to copy and paste it onto a text page first.

Now I have the same annoying problem that @71dB had: I can't change my avatar because "it's not a valid image". F%^k!
