I don't think we have a thread for plays, but could be wrong.

In any case, just found out that on Saturday night, CNN will stream the next-to-last performance of Good Night, and Good Luck, based on the 2005 George Clooney film about Edward R. Murrow and the McCarthy era, live from the Winter Garden Theatre in New York. Apparently it will be the first time a Broadway play has ever been televised live.

More info here.

I saw it advertised on Max, probably the easiest way for most of us to see it. I didn't understand the significance because I thought they were just live-streaming the movie! Thanks for explaining.

Live streaming a movie is called "television."  ;D

They will also be streaming it on CNN.com. Tried to find some link on the site, but apparently they will have it available on Saturday.

I've probably posted this before, and I still don't remember who the source is, but one of my favorite Pompous Quotes is, "Television: no good can come of this device. The word is half Larin, half Greek."

Thanks, not much activity at all! Maybe will have to fix that.  8)
