Italo Montemezzi (Vigasio, August 4, 1875 – Vigasio, May 15, 1952) was an Italian musician and composer.
A cultured and progressive musician, he skillfully fused verismo-style Italian melody with the harmonic and orchestral innovations of Wagner and, to a lesser extent, Debussy and Strauss, and he crafted his works with a confident theatrical flair.
