New to GMG

First, I gotta say that the sign-up/reg is confusing. It took me two attempts to successfully register.

Anyway ... Classical music is important in my life. And I have had memberships at CMG and TC for at least 15 years.
But just discovered GMG.
How is GMG different from CMG and TC?
What are "specialty areas" here at GMG that set it apart from CMG, TC, Reddit, etc.?
