I've heard Das Lied von der Erde and the 5th, 9th and 10th Symphonies, what else do you recommend?

All of them. I am not kidding, and in fact there are only so many works he composed, though many of them are quite long.

At least nothing on the avoid list.

Listen to his 1st and 2nd. They are very easy to get, and both are VERY rewarding.

Papageno, since you've experienced #5, #9, #10 and DLvdE, I'd say you'd probably like anything Mahler ever wrote--even #6 with its catastrophic ending. :D

My advise would be the 6th Symphony. It has the most classic structure of Mahler's Symphonies, and it is a very tragic work.

The 2nd has an extraordinary first movement "Totenfeier", one of the most perfect and impressive among Mahler's compositions.

OK, so you've heard these ........ but did you enjoy them?

I guess he did, since he's asking for more Mahler. ;D

Well, I'd say the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th to begin with, as springrite offered! ;D

More seriously, however, I'd say you've probably penetrated to the depths of the Mahler soundworld, if you're comfortable with the works you mention. "Essential" hearing would be the 2nd, 6th and 8th, in terms of getting the full overview of Mahler's work, while the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 7th are works you'll find familiar enough, having heard the 5th, 9th and Das Lied von der Erde.

And of course there are the songs... But the symphonies are the essential Mahler (though not all of the important Mahler) - if you include Das Lied von der Erde, and of course in my opinion. :)

Grazioso

All the symphonies. One of the greatest complete symphony cycles ever written, with no missteps. Based on the ones you listed, I'd say the 7th would be the next logical choice.
