He was an incredibly popular guru of alternative medicine. He used to gather large arenas for his lectures/meditations/group healings. I personally know people who travelled to St Petersburg to see him. They told me he was able to heal terminal cancer, make organs and teeth grow back. I haven't heard about him for years. He and his family were from Ukraine, suffered during the Chernobyl catastrophe, and have long ago left for Russian Federation.
