Do you collect incomplete sets?

As long as a collection is incomplete there is something to collect.

I keep collecting if it seems worth it.
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

When it comes to Elgar, I strive toward incompleteness in my collection efforts .........

You are sooo clever saying things like that! This time I won't get pissed off and you won't be able to say I lost it again.

I don't collect Rossini, Verdi, Sibelius, Vaughan-Williams, Britten, Schnittke, Shostakovich, Bax,...

Edgy choice of font for that set cover, George. Almost seems incongruous, yet it somehow works.

Yeah, it looks like Gilels's 4 year old son wrote it.  ;D

Very nice suit, but my favourite incomplete LvB sonatas cycle is by Solomon. :)

You guys go for the Testament I take it?

Yes, I recently went through them all - immaculate treatement of the recordings.
(And without the editing mistake that was on my copy of the 2CD Références issue).
Mind: I haven't heard the recent issue by EMI in the GROC series.

Thanks Q. I have heard that there has been some improvement in other recordings, but from what I have heard firsthand they still are at the bottom of my list. It seems that they still filter too much and still pale next to Pearl, Testament and MOT's work on Naxos.
