Have you read any of his books? ?What do you make of his adventures and philosophy, and eventual dropping out of the race? How is it that the same adventure that elevated him to new heights lead to the suicide and death of other competitors such as Donald Crowhurst? It kind of makes me sad that after all these years of hard work and dedication that I find my self predominantly worried about staying employed and not on loftier goals and pursuing bliss like Moitessier did.
