This is the worst thing I've ever seen... bear with it, it becomes bad enough to not turn off after a few minutes.

This event takes place close to where we live. There are usually broken limbs. It is only equaled in inanity by the bare-feet flounder trampling in the river by Palnackie. There the injuries are by people stabbing their own feet instead of the flounders.

I like the title page, 'So Gloucester'......So true.

Ahh, I am continuing to look for covers of that tune by Holst on YouTube and there are riches abound - I just finished listening to a version of it for accordion ensemble... 0:) :-X

;D That sounds neat, I didn't think anywhere could approach the ridiculous nature of the cheese roll, but that fishing thing sounds fun too :D

That is so bad it actually made me start laughing at the part where the lady in the flashy dress starts to sing.

finally found info and information about the artist!  This was recently restored -- graffiti removed, etc.  This was created almost 30 years ago!

the guy with or beside the camera going "oh!........oh!.........oh!" while the first runner takes that vicious faceplant haha. Most impressive thing has got to be the tackle the stopper at the bottom puts in near the beginning. Thanks for the video

If I get access to a video camera when I go this year I might be able to make a better (less shakey-cam) recording of it. I hope it rains on the day, that makes it better.

Beware of those with a disproportional sense both of grievance and entitlement, e.g., those having suffered the alleged humilation of Treaty of Versailles or the deep insult felt by members of El-Qaida.

This might be a good chat subject--groups who feel they are persecuted and think they deserve special privileges, or think they have a right to act out.

Beautiful bit of geekery here - video of a water droplet entering a glass of water, at 2000 frames per second. Really eye-opening. Didn't think i'd ever say that about a video about water.

p.s. Might be better to watch it muted. Really, no need for those sound effects.

This one is nice, but you might want to turn up the volume, because for some reason it's low on this video.
