Can't help you with lessons  ;D, but I can direct you to this CD, which is lots of fun.  I don't listen to it often (it's "too much of a good thing") but she is quite amazing.  She yodels Rossini's William Tell Overture, music from Carmen, the Tritsch-Tratsch Polka from J. Strauss, and many more.

Although the best yodelers are probably Pygmies which can be heard briefly in the intro to this clip:

Bruce,

I thought I was the only sad person who had this in the collection.  Although I would never admit to it, till someone else went first.

Amazing, tongue in cheek stuff.  Funny, but addictive  ;D

Heh-heh..."true confessions."  ;D

I forget how I acquired this--I think a friend gave it to me on a lark--but I thoroughly enjoyed it.  It is sort of a guilty pleasure, for sure, but Schneider is just so...so...so good.  You almost can't believe what you are hearing.

That... Almost "critted" me; but I rolled my save, and made references to both online and pen & paper RPGs in one phrase. :P

The Yodeling King, however, was no less than royal!

It could've been much worse...

Hah! Good point. :D

(And I was tempted to award xp, just now! But it's been years since I've properly run a game, so blame it on habit; or wishful thinking, as I'm not likely getting any players worth their salt in my current environs. :()

I have her volume 2....I do love the serious tone of the sleeve notes; great art form etc. It is a complete hoot and guaranteed to give you a laugh on a dull day.

Bruce, I am sure it would be theaccompaniment to some of your avant gard art shows. 'Instalations and Yodeling'. For myself, I feel one volume is all I need.

Jim Carrey does a kind of 'spaceman's yodel' in Earth Girls Are Easy.
