If you had to choose one of Bach's preludes and fugues, which would it be?
a) to listen to
b) to play
Are they the same?

What are your reasons?

I don't have a favorite p&f, but I would love to be able to play the e-minor ftom WTC Book 1 above all  0:)

Which book?  I'd go for book 2 any day!

Book one's B Minor is amazing.

Book two's Bb minor fugue is also pretty spectacular.

and so is........

;D

e-flat minor for me, the ones used in Norstein's Tale of Tales.

C Sharp Major, WTC I, played by Richter preferably.

It is difficult to chose only one Prelude and Fugue. Perhaps the Prelude and Fugue for organ, in C minor, BWV 546. Or the Prelude and Fugue in E minor BWV 548.

71 dB

I'd choose Prelude and Fugue in E Major, BWV 552 "St Anne".

Very exultant music!  :)
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.
