c#minor

Mine, unlike my name, is c minor. It seems to fit my mood perfectly, i am also very comfortable composing in it. It is a sad yet not over dramatic key, lyrical yet still has a little more dissonance than other keys, such as a minor.

Also love E flat Major, very triumphant.

Also of course c# minor, very powerful and very dark.

Every time I sit down to write I always seem to end up in F major.   Nothing emotional or passionate about it, it just happens to be the key that lies easiest under my fingers.

This, this is why I'm a very, very lame composer.   ;D

As a middle school band director, I'd perfer any key that ISN'T B-Flat.

Or Eb....or F....  ;D

But I actually rather like Eb major though.

Right.   ;)

Eb isn't so bad because the woodwinds can do double octave scales and sound more advanced.  It's a bit easier to compose middle school music in Eb too, (more comfortable ranges to play with).

Mystery

Definitely D minor. The one I find easiest to pick out, my favourite key to play in, the key I compose in... yeah :-)
