It's a fine cadence as well, as it is very, dare I say, deceptive

I'm far too heavy to be deceptive, and my instrument surely doesn't help my deceptiveness   But one can dream........Oh how can one dream......

Oh, not at all, these days;  it has become a standard gesture.  A deceptive cadence no longer fools anyone

A deceptive cadence? It's where, instead of going from V - I, you go from V - vi (or in minor, V - VI).

Now it just needs to be placed in stranger places   Like the final note of a piece, don't give the listener the satisfaction of a finished piece.
