It's £ 72 on amazon.uk.
Right you are! Just did a cancel and re-ordered from UK. Once the VAT is cancelled, the price went down to under 60£.  Veeeery attactive...
It's all good...

The 2-disc Netania Davrath Songs of the Auvergne, much lauded by myself and others on GMG is on sale at Daedalus for $5.98 (reg. $19).  If you don't have the Canteloube or are interested in comparing the set you own, this orig. Vanguard recording is warmly recommended.

a starter for possible updates:   coming August 1st, noted at jpc
J.S.Bach Complete Edition (Brilliant Classics-Edition 2014)  157 CD's
Jaap ter Linden, Rainer Kussmaul, Thomas Hengelbrock, Christine Schornsheim, Pieter-Jan Belder, Stephen Preston, Trevor Pinnock, Jordi Savall, Jakob Lindberg, Johannette Zomer, Monica Huggett, Leon Berben und weitere
EUR 99.99

Amazon.de has this for Eur 82, but I think some of the stuff listed above is for the older box.  For example, the new one has 142, not 157 CDs.  I don't know if this is just consolidation (supposedly some were as short as 38 minutes) or if there is less "stuff" in the box.  Also, in the new (brief) box description, many of those names do not appear :(
I am so happy with my new Brilliant Haydn that, paradoxically, I now long for this as well ???

Edit: Got more info:
Artists: Artist: Rainer Kussmaul, Thomas Hengelbrock, Christine Schorn Home, Pieter-Jan Belder, Kristof Barati, Thomas Zehetmair, Jaap Ter Linden, Stephen Preston, Trevor Pinnock, Jordi Savall, Stefano Molardi, Johan Zomer, Monica Huggett, Leon Berben, Christiane Wuyts, Ruth Holton, Nico van der Meel, Edith Mathis, Jed Wentz, Pieter-Jan Belder, Emma Kirkby, Martyn Hill, Paul Agnew, Michael Chance, Holland Boys Choir, Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Dresden Philharmonic, Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, La Stravaganza Köln , Brandenburg Consort, The Sixteen, Consort of London, Netherlands Bach Collegium, Harry Christophers, Andrew Manze,

This is their own blurb, but it does sound pretty good:

Product Info
The third version of the "Complete Bach Edition" stands out some significant changes from: The organ is now in the recording of Stefano Molardi ago on historical central German instruments; the Sonatas and Partitas for violin can be heard in the new recording of Kristof Baráti and the violin concertos in the interpretation of Thomas Zehetmair. The large choral works are now in recordings of major German orchestras as the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, the Dresden Philharmonic and the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra with excellent soloists. Last but not least, through a more efficient distribution of the works could be saved over a dozen CDs. summarized in the box recordings were made from 1970 to 2014 for the East German label Eterna, Berlin Classics, or as high-quality productions.
It's all good...

How would this compare to the Te Kanawa version which seems to be much admired.

I had the second incarnation and liked it. I like the Fagius organ, I doubt this is an upgrade. The core is the Dutch cantatas. I like'em but they are no threat to Suzuki et al. Harpsichord stuff was a mixed bag but lots that was good. I doubt you'd regret this if you get a good price. But buy it for the secondary stuff, not the major choral works, which are better elsewhere, including boxes I think you own.

Kiri and Davrath are my favorites.  Kiri was my first exposure to the Chants and I listen to hers still - she was in top form and had the coaching assistance of Jean Fay (since deceased) a linguistic authority.  Tate and the English Chamber Orch. are warm and lustrous, first rate.  Hers are sumptuous performances, sometimes taken at a slower pace than one is accustomed to hearing, but no less wonderful because of that.  Still, some think it's gilding the lily.  Davrath's recording - she took a personal interest in folksongs - is lighter, sprightlier, more personal and frankly, more in keeping with the songs' folk origins.   If I had to choose one set - it would be hers - thankfully I don't have to (and at the prices you can obtain those two you shouldn't have to either!).  There are aspects of still other recordings - 7 or thereabouts - that make me turn occasionally to those as well.  Maria Bayo's Chants w/ Perez fall somewhere in between the two above and you get as further inducement 5 Chants de Pays Basques not in either of them.  I might add that there was also some support among GMGers for Jill Gomez' EMI recording.

It's a good set, but, on receiving it, I hated the fact that only the third movement of "Tristia" is included, at the end of the "Symphonie Fantastique" disc. I know for a fact that sir Colin recorded the whole work, and, to make matters worse, "Les nuits d'été" gets a whole 30-minute CD all to itself. Someone at Universal Italy screwed up big time on that one.

Those AmazonIt boxes are now all several times more expensive.  Something weird going on over there.

Yes, the shipping costs are a problem. That is why I never order with them, well, only if I have enough to order. Their sales are not anymore what they use to be, alas.
Perchance I am, though bound in wires and circuits fine,

are sweeter far than any stage could hear.
