Of interest to me, certainly, as I've had a number of good deals from Qobuz.  Where on the site exactly are the discounts?  I can't see them on the main page (or anywhere else).

Try this link.  If it doesnt work send me PM

www.qobuz.com is having a special december deal on a bunch of big name labels.  The discounts are in the 30-50% range.

This may be of interest to the digital buffs.

amazon.it has good deals on quite a few classical boxes, running until the end of the year - hope this link works, if not, go here and click on "Promo Classica" (and no, I'm not going to buy the Muti Verdi box).

For those of you interested in the "Mozart 225" complete edition available tomorrow as a lightning deal on Amazon.de starting at 16:29, be aware that the two hardcover books included in the box are going to be the German language versions. Just in case you were not aware of the different language configurations on that one.

I placed an order today and had fidgeted about including this one. The samples are very convenient. Some of them had my ears perking up. But then I figured I had so many versions of all these works and have spent the last 20 years actively disliking and disparaging Norrington, so I gave it a pass. I actually liked the Mendelssohns quite a bit. It's just that I hate being given a lecture.

You gotta be a masochist to order this set. I can't even stand the thought.

The Bruckner and Mahler recordings are good. The others I have no experience with.

Thanks, those are the ones that caught my attention most ... I have it on order, it's so cheap (added to the Venzago Bruckner box at JPC's - that one has me curious).

The Bruckner Symphonies by Venzago is high on my list, thus I would be very much interested about interpretation, sound, and quality of the divers orchestras. So if your willing....

Hm, yeah ... but I only just started with Bruckner, listening to No. 1 (and 0 and 00). Will take me quite a while, I'm afraid.

Never mind that, as long when you have something to say you let me know. :) :)
It's on my long list, and I take the time before buying it.

Many thanks Harry for the link to the JPC Hanssler CDs, much appreciated.  Norrington sets ordered with a slice of Mahler recordings too.

Cheers!

It's not really a super bargain, I guess, but Amazon Italy has a wide assortment of UMG discs at between five and eight Euros a disc.  Most are reissues (eg, Originals), but some are new/new-ish titles.

At JPC, 145 Oehms titles, a lot of them for only 2,99. I consider them a bargain. There is much to be found for all.
