XB-70 Valkyrie

I bought this incredible CD of Russian Orthodox chant (all in MP3 format) in Novgorod, and while I can listen to them on my PC, they won't transfer to CD. I tried using Roxio Easy Media Creator, which I've used in the past to burn CDs from downloaded MP3s (e.g., from eClassical), but when I add the track to the project, nothing happens. Double-clicking the file brings up an error message saying the file is corrupted. I tried burning them through Real Player / Windows Media Player, and that doesn't work either (the stupid POS tells me to connect a burner, when I have TWO connected!). THe only thing I can think of is that my PC does not display the cyrillic characters; they appear either as roman characters with innumerable bizarre diacritical marks, or merely as strings of question marks. Could this be causing the problem?

Any advice to help solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Based on my experience with .jpg files, I'd say that is definitely the problem. Try copying the files onto your hard drive and renaming all of them, one by one (in Windows: right click the file and select "rename"). Then try burning the audio CD (from the renamed files).

And let us know if it worked!
