I envy all your snow photos. But then, as a recompense, I get to go out in 18C/65F weather and sip my coffee looking at this:

Yesterday I was watching the weather channel - Jim Cantore was in Augusta, GA - he commented that it was a traffic violation if ice flies off the roof of a vehicle and hits another one - hmmm; not sure how many states have that particular law (one story HERE) - Dave

Yes, I passed by a sign near a state police station yesterday stating it's a $200 fine for not cleaning the snow off of your vehicle before driving. It's a bit difficult to clear the roof of the Ford Explorer I drive now because of its height and roof racks, but still easier than the Dodge Ram pickup I used to drive. My wife's Volvo is a piece of cake. It's a good idea to stay well back of 18-wheelers on the highway, though.

Partly cloudy today with a little cool breeze which is a welcome relief from the usual Southern heat of summer. BTW, Ray, a tornado warning in Manitoba? That's interesting. I hope nothing comes of it, though.
