I forgot about this gem:
https://www.youtube.com/v/1se9xbRRZL8&index=9&list=PL9F777F07D69737A3
Lyrics to The Other Side
One eye is brown,
The other is brown.
I am a fish,
I swim around.
You say I'm lost,
I disagree.
The map has changed,
And with it, me.

Flying through the seaweed,
What strange things I see below.
Cars are waiting,
Windshields wiping,
Nowhere left to go! Oh!

The ice caps are melting, oh ho ho ho!
All the world is drowning, oh ho ho ho ho.
The ice caps are melting,
The tide is rushing in.
All the world is drowning,
To wash away the sin.

The seagull flies,
In search of land.
The children hide,
Beneath the sand.
As golden toys,
Come floating down,
I play the fish,
I swim around.

Flying through the seaweed,
what strange things I see below.
Cars are waiting,
Windshields wiping,
Nowhere left to go! Oh!

The ice caps are melting, oh ho ho ho!
All the world is drowning, oh ho ho ho ho.
The ice caps are melting,
The tide is rushing in.
All the world is drowning,
To wash away the sin.

Ah, the '60s.  I guess you had to be there.  When we were in the eighth grade (1968-9), Pelham "Pat" Pearce (Director of Central City Opera since 1996) did TT's version of "Tiptoe through the Tulips" at our middle-school talent show.  Too bad video recording was so much rarer back then.

This was really surprising.  I hadn't any Tiny Tim apart from 'Livin' in the Sunlight' until now.  Quite intelligent and playful.  I have a whole new appreciation for the Uke-master.Tiny tim is a music genius. He's one of the most creative and awesome musical artists i have ever heard. All his songs are original and unique. They are musical magic. His songs are beautiful thats why i know he thinks about things more better and different than others... He has the music of angels. Rest in peace you beautiful madman! Thank you for your sharing :)

I can't think of TT without remembering a psychological affliction of his (shared by Bela Lugosi and a former boss of mine) that has interested me.  He could not dine with or in front of others, even his wives.  In the 60s he was regarded more or less as an eccentric and also something of a put-on.  In fact, he was talented and creative.  And entirely genuine.

I like his music quite a bit. Silly, tuneful, fun, so what's not to like? My younger brother hates him though. He is, admittedly, a little creepy looking. Tiny Tim, not my brother.  :P

Interesting fact about him. That is a strange condition (phobia?). I guess he was something of a connoisseur as well. I can't think of anyone to whom he can be compared.  "God Bless Tiny Tim"! What a title! What an album!

The Six

His People are Strange cover is leagues better than the original. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n86dSssBSmA
