Anyone familiar with this one?

Q

Where did you find this, Que?

Que

Drasko

Firkusny recorded the concerto 4 times commercially, first two in Kurz edition ('54 mono with Szell, '63 stereo with Somogyi) third with Susskind '75 in original edition and fourth with Neumann ('90?), not sure about that last one but think it's the original version as well.

The Cantelli and Kubelik CDs are commercial enough to make it atleast 6.

Please elaborate on the Kubelik - what label and is it the Kurz version or the original? :)

Kubelik/CPO 1944? on Multisonic. Also, Belohlavek/CPO 1992 on VAI DVD. I do not know the versions.

Thank you both! :)
Considering the date, the recording with Kubelik is most probably the Kurz-version, which sucks BIG time...

My favorite has always been Firkusny's Vox recording.

MishaK

I have only Richter/Kleiber and Moravec/Belohlavek. I prefer the Moravec, but would have to confess that I haven't listened to either in a long time.
