Hi all,
Decided to come back. Not many out there in the real world to share the finer points of classical and opera, and this time I'm not going to use the old excuses of family, job, too much time spent on the net etc etc (although all true  )

Quick recap of who I am: male, british expat living in the Netherlands (Hoi Harry!!). No musical playing ability but big fan of beethoven, mozart, haydn, bruckner & especially wagner (thanks for the T-Mann Ring CDs, Lis  )

  Welcome Millfields, glad to have you on GMG and what a delight it is to read that you are a fan of Wagner's music dramas. You and I share similar tastes in music- Wagner is king in my opinion and my favorite composer.  Beethoven, Mozart and Bruckner are also among my favorite composers, however I would like to trade in Haydn for J.S. Bach if you would be kind enough to allow me??
