Have you bought (or, do you plan to buy) The Simpsons Movie on DVD?

Aye

Don't go Krusty on us, now.

Nay, I got bored of The Simpsons years ago... :P

Are you a fan of any animation, Poju?

Keemun

I haven't seen it yet, so I plan to rent it.  As much as I like the Simpsons, I don't anticipate it being worthy of a purchase.  But perhaps I will be pleasantly surprised.   8)

I'm afraid I'm not an animation person...  :-\

The Simpsons is among the best animations I know. South Park I never liked.

I saw the Simpsons episode where Danny DeVito was Homer's long-lost brother, the rich owner of a Detroit car company. And really saw no need to watch another episode, though it had its moments certainly...

Interesting that you should ask. Vanessa just asked me to buy some Simpsons DVDs. I guess being a mother-to-be, she wants to know what's coming.

Kullervo

Once upon a time I watched them every day, but now I couldn't care less. Just one of those things.  :-\

No, I rent 100x more often than I buy.  But I loved it!  It had some of that satirical bite that had been missing from the show for many, many years.   :)

Also it was also just plain funny as well.

Spider pig, spider pig he does whatever a spider pig does!

I'm not going to say it was as good as seasons 2-10 (hell, even 1 had it's moments), but I thought for current Simpsons, it was very good.  but that's my opinion of course

Things always escalate because my free thinker opinions are too much for so many . . . .

Karl, I listened Elgar's Marches last night ... and I'd say it's 2-3 times more complex than this thread ........

karlhenning
