So we have here a "great" violinist in the form of Bronislav Gimpel. Such lovely music - innocent and fresh and radiant. Perfect for all the best salons.  I could well imagine someone taking this performance to their desert island.

There are quite a few recordings of the trio, this one stands out for me. There's a streaming transfer from Bibliothèque Nationale de France.
