Favorite orchestra: Boston Symphony Orchestra, for its colour. Ideal for Debussy, Ravel, Falla.

Favorite conductor: Leonard Bernstein. Obviously.

Favorite pianist: Leon Fleisher or Murray Perahia, since Rudolf Serkin was not born in America.

Chamber Music: The Juilliard Quartet.

Singers: John Brownlee, Lawrence Tibett, Leontyn Price, Jessye Norman
