I bought a colour Kobo. Do I need it? Absolutely not! But wow finally one of the big three has released a color eink reader. Here it is compared to an older Kobo.

My taste is not avoid of limitations either, but there is very little Tangerine Dream I don't "care about". Many fans of early TD say they lost interest around Tyger (I like Tyger, in fact "Alchemy of the Heart" is one of my favorite songs of TD), but the style of their music has changes many many times since the mid 80s. If you don't like Rockoon, maybe you like Jeanne D'Arc. If you don't like Optical Race, maybe you'll like Quantum Gate.

Do you like the Pink Years albums @71 dB ? I enjoy that sort of experimentalism, also Edgar's strange remixes.

I bought a CD shelf that will hold over 300 CDs... so I can keep buying CDs! Not just downloads for me.

It arrived yesterday, I ordered from Stands and Mounts. It is nice, sturdy wood, wholly built with thick shelves. And it has a beautiful finish. If you live in the States, I highly recommend it.

Now I need to fill it with lots of CDs! I should see if they have bookshelves...

Which one did you end up ordering? CDs are trying to take over my house (books too, but I'm working to divest myself of some of them).

I'm trying to remember the name of the company that I had ordered some CD cabinets from years ago. I'd love to get some more of them. They were really nice, solid wood (walnut I believe) and I ordered them with glass doors. You could either set them on the floor or mount them on the walls. Needless to say, I quickly filled them up!
