2.5 days ago I purchased some ham - it gave me food poisoning and I currently feel like death.

I conclude that the ham represented poor value for money...

Not a purchase, but  I came across an e-book of JD Salinger shorts that are out of print publications. A collection of about 30 or so short stories   :)
I have purchased about 30 e-books in the last two weeks. This may turn out to be worse than a CD addiction  8) Fortunately they will not occupy any physical space.

Back when Zappa originally released the YCDTOSA series (volume by volume), my thinking was pretty much on the lines of, some of this material I am really interested in, but it's unthinkable that I should need the whole series.  My thinking did not substantially deviate from that for, well, decades.  And yet, it's now changed;  and with today's grab, my series is complete:

(Oh, and this I just chanced on at Newbury Comics . . . an hour of live Petit Wazoo music seemed no-brainer-ish, so to speak):

And I thought I was picking up some old school today....

Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

Been putting off buying an mp3 player for years, but finally gave in. Even though this model is getting long in the tooth, I bought it as a friend is very enthusiastic about its performance vs. many of the rivals. I wouldn't buy any Apple product anyway, due to their eevviillll. As expected it sounds like total crap, to the extent that it is hard to get used to... I suppose I will adjust.
