I'm surprised it hasn't become your avatar yet.  :)

You've heard the 24 k remaster? I didn't think it was out yet? If you did, I wish I was you, Davedude!

You left out the important part - mastered by Steve Hoffman.  8)

I've been looking for a good deal for that album on vinyl. It's pretty expensive in Amazon and ebay.

Bummer, dude. Is that your favorite DP album?

Oh yeah! I really love even the lesser known tracks like the killer "proto-metal" Hard Lovin Man.

I'm crazy about all the '70's Deep Purple with Ritchie Blackmore, Made in Japan, Burn, etc. I also love the Perfect Strangers album.

But In Rock is Deep Purple Mountain Majesty.

Not to worry, I'm sure the AF CD will sound at least nearly as good as the vinyl.

Not bought, but received recently as a gift (and I would have bought it if I hadn't been given it). I guess this is Bob's version of 'easy listening', which perhaps is why it's sold so well? He can do this sort of bluesy stuff in his sleep; there's nothing here to challenge, nothing here that's likely to live in the mind for years - no 'Mississippi'; no 'High Water'. But who cares; he's still here, still doing it, and that's something to celebrate.

He's become an old bluesman. Which is neat.
