I think the thing that amuses me most about the Cruze is how quiet it is... not as quiet as a hybrid or anything, but surprisingly so for a small car; it's got acoustic insulation built into it, and I can even hear the soft passages in Chopin clearly while driving at highway speeds.  (Of course I was driving an 8 year old Ford, so my basis of comparison is low).

You technology freak, you. My last car was 18 year old Fiat, in it you could hear everything but the music.

With some music, it's best that way, of course . . . .

Returning to my roots a bit and ordered this:

This has been newly remastered and I've always been a huge fan of The Police's last two recordings: Ghost in the Machine and Synchronicity. Incredible music-making here with some of the most distinctive rhythms, melodies, and harmonies in rock music.

One of the best from the 80s there, MI, great stuff.

Oh yeah, most definitely. I've loved this recording since I was a kid. I remember we used to have dance nights at my parents' house and this was my introduction to The Police's music.

I have stood here before inside the pouring rain
With the world turning circles running 'round my brain
I guess I'm always hoping that you'll end this reign
But it's my destiny to be the king of pain

It is nice to want to read something so much that I was okay starting it on my way home (while bus hopping) despite all the momentary looks of frozen confusion and disgust that this tends to provoke from witnesses :P I wish I could hide from them -_-
Peanut butter, flour and sugar do not make cookies. They make FIRE.

I think you could read that on a bus in Boston without suffering moral censure. (Cage is no longer Banned in Boston . . . .)

It's about time I found out.

Cool. This will be my first. And I thought David Lee Roth wrote "Just a Gigolo."

I'm sure a lot of people think that.
